Our Services
Since opening our first home in 2018 to support transitional-aged youth, FCALSO has grown to operate five Adult Living Homes throughout the Stratford community. Each home provides compassionate, 24-hour support in a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment.
We support adults with developmental disabilities in building greater independence, making personal choices, developing meaningful relationships, and participating fully in their communities. Our person-centred approach respects each individual’s unique strengths, needs, preferences, and goals.
Our services promote:
-
Independence and personal choice
-
Inclusion and community participation
-
Meaningful relationships and connections
-
Dignity, respect, and self-advocacy
-
Physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being
-
The development of everyday living skills
-
At FCALSO, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling, meaningful, and valued life.

Community Experiences
We support individuals in attending local events, exploring new places, and enjoying meaningful experiences within their community. These opportunities encourage social connections, build confidence, promote inclusion, and allow each person to discover new interests while creating lasting memories.

Learning & Life Skills
We provide hands-on opportunities that help individuals develop practical life skills, build confidence, explore their interests, and increase independence. Each experience is based on the individual’s unique abilities, personal goals, and level of support needed.

Mental Health and Emotional Wellness
We support each individual’s mental health and emotional well-being through compassionate, person-centred care. Our team helps individuals develop healthy coping strategies, express their emotions, build confidence, manage daily challenges, and access additional community resources when needed.

Volunteering and Community Involvement
We support individuals in becoming active and valued members of their community. This may include attending local events, participating in recreational activities, visiting community spaces, volunteering, developing social connections, and exploring personal interests. Each opportunity is guided by the individual’s choices, goals, interests, and level of support required.
